SELF-CLEANING MECHANICAL WATER FILTER

USE

The filter has a ball valve mounted on the lower part of the pot, which is opened once a month by removing solid particles located in the filter itself. Rinsing the filter cartridge is performed as follows: Close the water supply and then open the faucet at the bottom of the filter so that the pressure from the house system backwashes the filter cartridge, then open the valve in front of the filter again. For better filter cartridge permeability and cleanliness, the rinsing process can be repeated several times in a row.

DESCRIPTION

• The mechanical filter cartridge retains all solid particles in water larger than 60 microns (sand, sludge, sawdust). It is used for drinking water, as well as for water intended for technological use. Protects fittings, plumbing, taps and appliances for household, industry, pharmacy, etc. It can be mounted directly behind the water meter or in front of the water users themselves.

MAINTENANCE AND INSTALLATION

Installation is possible directly behind the water meter. Installation should be performed by a professionally qualified person. During installation, it is necessary to seal with Teflon. Installation should be carried out in a bypass. The use of flexible hoses is mandatory. The filter must be installed in such a way that it will be protected from external environmental influences (sun, rain, high temperatures or temperatures below 5 ° C)

Plastic and brass water filters and components of these materials which come into contact with drinking water shall be manufactured in accordance with Directive 80/778 / EEC for consumption and production procedure.  Filter cartridges for mechanical cleaning are manufactured according to EU standards, EEC 80/778.
