Replacement of filter cartridges is mandatory at the intervals specified in the instructions for each filter.

The mechanical insert is changed in the period from 6 to 12 months or. depending on the quality of the incoming water.

A UV disinfection device is most commonly used for local microbiological water protection.

Ultraviolet light destroys the vital activity of microorganisms and bacteria such as legionella, E. coli, V. cholerae, Giardia, Cryptosporid and others.

Microbiologically sound water can be used in the food industry, chemical industry, pharmaceutical industry and household use.

If you did not ventilate the filter housing enough when changing the cartridge, the water is saturated with air. After changing the cartridge, we recommend that you open the nearest faucet and let the water run for 5 minutes so that everything is thoroughly cleaned, after which you can continue using the water without interruption.

Water contains a higher concentration of iron or your pipes have corroded. The latter most often occurs if you use rainwater.

Green mucus in water is algae. They most often occur when the filter is exposed directly to daylight. We recommend that you replace the filter pot with a pot that is not transparent and does not transmit UV light. If it is not possible to replace the filter pot, you can protect the filter with an outer cabinet or simply protect it with cardboard or wrap it with a substance that does not allow daylight or. is resistant to UV light.

Replace water softener crystals no later than 12 months or as soon as the level

crystals fall by 1/3. The crystals do not replenish and need to be replaced completely.

We suggest installing an EKO-TRIPLE triple house filter. The cartridges in this filter assembly are installed in series and protect each other, so the last cartridge does not need to be changed too often.

The first cartridge has 50 micron filtration, the second cartridge has 25 micron filtration, the third has 5 micron filtration and eliminates water turbidity.

Due to limited space, we suggest installing a combined filter EKOMMAG – MAGO-EKO-FOS. The filter provides filtration, magnetic neutralization of limescale and protection against corrosion.

The filter should be installed with flexible pipes due to the tangential forces that occur when cutting the pipes to install the filter between the pipes. These voltages can later damage the filter threads.

We know three ways to treat water with which we work against limescale.

1. Magnetic neutralization of EKOM limescale

Magnetic neutralizer reduces the accumulation of limescale on radiators, pipelines and other devices that come into contact with water and removes existing limescale.
