FILTER WITH ACTIVATED CARBON IN GRANULATE

USE

It is used for protection against chlorine and other organic contents found in water:

• pesticides,

• chlorine,

• insecticides,

• improves the taste of water,

• improves the smell of water.

If the activated carbon filter is used for drinking water, the cartridge must be replaced every three months, otherwise an additional antibacterial cartridge is installed. We recommend the installation of a mechanical pre-filter.

MAINTENANCE AND INSTALLATION

Replacing the first cartridge with activated carbon  is required on 3  months  Installation is possible directly behind the water meter. Installation should be performed by a professionally qualified person. During installation, it is necessary to seal with Teflon. Installation should be carried out in a bypass. The use of flexible hoses is mandatory. The filter must be installed in such a way that it will be protected from external environmental influences (sun, rain, high temperatures or temperatures below 5 ° C)

Plastic and brass water filters and components of these materials which come into contact with drinking water shall be manufactured in accordance with Directive 80/778 / EEC for consumption and production procedure.  Filter cartridges  are manufactured according to EU standards, EEC 80/778.
