USE

The double house filter EKO DUPLEX 20 is an ideal solution for water treatment at the entrance to the building and install it directly behind the water consumption meter in a residential house or apartment. It provides filtration of drinking water, protection for taps, showers, toilets, water heaters, washing machines, pipelines and other household appliances.

DESCRIPTION

• A 60 µm mechanical filter insert and a magnetic limescale neutralizer are installed in the first filter pot. The filter pot has a faucet at the bottom for backwashing solids in the water. This extends the life of the mechanical filter cartridge and at the same time reduces the cost of maintaining the filter. The mechanical filter insert retains all solid particles larger than 60 µm in the water. The magnetic limescale neutralizer, located in the middle of the first filter head, is designed to protect against limescale and ferromagnetic particles in the water.

• A CARBON BLOCK 5 mcr activated carbon filter cartridge is installed in the second filter pot. height 20 '' and is an ideal solution to protect water against chlorine, pesticides, insecticides, improves the smell and taste of water while retaining all solid particles larger than 5 microns. The recommended replacement of cartridges is six months.

MAINTENANCE AND INSTALLATION

Replacement of the first cartridge (with mesh) is required every 12 months, and cartridge with activated carbon every 6-12 months. Installation Installation is possible directly behind the water meter. Installation should be performed by a professionally qualified person. During installation, it is necessary to seal with Teflon. Installation should be carried out in a bypass. The use of flexible hoses is mandatory. The filter must be installed in such a way that it will be protected from external environmental influences (sun, rain, high temperatures or temperatures below 5 ° C)

Water filters made of plastic and brass and components of these materials which come into contact with drinking water shall be manufactured in accordance with Directive 80/778 / EEC for consumption and production procedure.​
